Since its founding, the Moses Mesoamerican Archive and Research Project has organized numerous conferences, symposia, and lecture series bringing together scholars, archaeologists, historians, and artists working on Mesoamerican cultures and religions. These programs have fostered interdisciplinary dialogue on topics ranging from Aztec religion and ceremonial landscapes to the interpretation of codices, archaeological discoveries, and contemporary approaches to Mesoamerican cultural heritage.

The Eduardo Matos Moctezuma Lecture Series were co-organized with the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, Harvard Divinity School, the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, and Mexico’s Secretaría de Cultura, and made possible by the generous support of José Antonio Alonso Espinosa and Karen Beckmann.
