Desde su fundación, el Moses Mesoamerican Archive and Research Project ha organizado numerosas conferencias, simposios y ciclos de conferencias que reúnen a especialistas —entre ellos arqueólogos, historiadores, antropólogos, historiadores del arte y artistas— dedicados al estudio de las culturas y religiones mesoamericanas. Estos programas han fomentado el diálogo interdisciplinario sobre temas que abarcan desde la religión mexica y los paisajes ceremoniales hasta la interpretación de códices, los descubrimientos arqueológicos y los enfoques contemporáneos para el estudio y la preservación del patrimonio cultural mesoamericano.

La Serie de Conferencias Eduardo Matos Moctezuma fue coorganizada con el David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, la Harvard Divinity School, el Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology y la Secretaría de Cultura de México, y fue posible gracias al generoso apoyo de José Antonio Alonso Espinosa y Karen Beckmann.
